What is a SolarBee Water Circulator?
A SolarBee is a floating solar-powered lake, dam, pond and reservoir circulator constructed from stainless steel and polymers.
There are four models, e smallest draws water up at a rate of 4700 litres per minute, followed by larger models which draw 9600, 18900 and 37800 litres per minute respectively.
The water is drawn up from below and spread gently across the top for continuous surface renewal.
There are over 1000 successful installations worldwide – satisfied customers and Engineering consultants have described the process of using these machines as killer applications.

One SolarBee can:
- Displace up to 25,000 watts, totaling about 219,000 kWhrs per year.
- Displace the electricity requirements for about 20 homes, thereby reducing carbon dioxide emissions (the leading Greenhouse Gas (GHG)) by about 148 tons per year of CO2.
- Displace the equivalent of 25 passenger car emissions for one year; based on the assumption that one car produces 6 tons of CO2 per year, on average.

SolarBee units provide a very unique combination of renewable energy (photovoltaic panels), energy efficiency and conservation. The patented near laminar flow allows the unit to provide high-flow long-distance circulation that has proven to displace 30 hp or more of conventional mixing equipment, reducing the cost of operating conventional grid-connected mixing equipment.
